You know I always hear how Hondas are so reliable and I don’t think it’s true of every model. For example, you never ever see an old Honda Prelude on the road. I had one that died with 140,000 miles on it, never to run again. I sold it to some guy for almost nothing and he never could get it to run. What a pile!

Preludes were crap.
CRVs seem to go forever. Maybe it is just because they made so many. You see so many old ones around.
I bought a four year old Honda Civic for my wife. We sold it four years later for $100 less than we paid for it.
We bought a Honda Odyssey mini van brand new. It was a great vehicle. The only thing that eventually went was the electric motor on the sliding door on the passenger side. It was a great vehicle for a road trip. Plus, very well designed. It also got good mileage for a big vehicle with a V6 engine. My wife now drives a CRV. It has been virtually trouble free for the first seven or eight years we have owned it.
