OKLAHOMA CITY -- Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs started the Western Conference finals with a win in Oklahoma City, then ended the series the same way.
The defending champions are dethroned. Wembanyama and the Spurs are headed to the NBA Finals.
Did Bob Hill, the previous coach, dirt as well: made him go through the wretched season to ensure the best chances in the “lottery” then ashcanned him and replaced him with himself as soon as they knew they got Robinson.
Wemby is certainly something to behold.
If not the Celtics…the Spurs seem fun to watch. I am glad to see Luke Kornet barking on the court.
As a Celtics fan, it is compulsory to say, “F the knicks.”
(Although I like KAT and Brunson. They seem like decent enough guys.)

Nahhh...I don’t think injuries had much to do with it. Spurs are better and wanted it more. Popabitch is gone, I can tolerate Spurs again. (Even though they cheated, along with ref Tommy Nunez, the Suns out of a title in 2007.
