Message: The US Postal Service (USPS) is not supposed to be financed with tax dollars,
but on USPS revenue from postage and services, which totaled roughly $80.5 billion in 2025.
USPS Total Expenses (2025): Around $90 billion, driven by employee costs, elaborate overtime schemes and overstaffing.
The US Postal Service brings in an average of $262.5 million daily.
The Postal Service pays roughly $2.1 billion in salaries and benefits every two weeks.
The USPS is currently experiencing a financial crisis, operating at a net loss despite billions in revenue.
Taxpayers need to know how the USPS reached its legal maximum debt of $15 billion.
Sounds like the US Postal Service is in dire need of Elon Musk type of person it’s insane to keep their pace.
That debt limit was set in the 70's and has not been adjusted for inflation in decades.

The statement is factually correct, but you're using it to imply that the Postal Service is accessing federal funds. Is there a source or reference, because I've never heard this claim.
In the early 2000s Congress mandated that the Postal Service PREFUND retiree healthcare costs 75 YEARS into the future.
No other agency, company or corporation has such a mandate.
While it's laudable to encourage people to actively participate with and provide feedback to the government, they need accurate information, which you don't provide.
You're asking people to contact the govt to rant, basically.
