Gainesville is home town for the University of Florida, which I believe is the largest university in Florida.

Politically, Gainesville is Hard Left on every political issue.

Hard to believe that Planned Parenthood would shut down there.

It is hard left politically because of the university. However, there are a lot of conservative folks who live there who are outvoted all the time.
