Something about states garnishing federal payments... I think there’s federal laws about that.
There is not. The state cannot tax the federal government, but can tax federal payments to persons.
Taxes for personal injury cannot be taxed.
Nor can they tax payments for wrongful imprisonment.
The tax is just income tax. They can’t make a special category of income tax for people who make these payments.
