No one understood why husband Pierre Trudeau did not divorce her.

Perhaps they had an understanding that they both could F around, still keep the same address but not have anything to do with each other.... https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/deborah-coyne-the-underdog-with-the-trudeau-connection-1.1341031
Same reason Bill and Hillary are still married, power.
The similarities are striking. But Justin has blue eyes.
Fidel had brown.
Brown is dominant, so he could have a recessive blue-eyed relative.
Fidel’s parents were Ăngel Castro y Argiz and Lina Ruz GonzĂĄlez.
I couldn’t find a color photo or evidence of eye color, but they look brown.
It’s possible a recessive gene was passed along, but would be a genetic fluke.
They did divorce but it was in 1984 during Trudeau’s final months as PM somewhat after the scandals. The elder Trudeau died in 2000. Margaret lives on.
There are such couples. Sometimes they will stay together for years and years, since both understand the other, and few average people would accept such an arrangement, at least not openly. Most would rather pretend they didn’t know about all those ‘extra-curricular events’.
**Elsa Lancaster, the actress who played Bride of Frankenstein, had an open marriage with her husband, Charles Laughton. Married in 1929. B/c Charles was gay, their marriage was a platonic
‘lavender marriage’. while Laughton had gay relationships, Elsa, who was straight, was also free to pursue her own affairs.

“My dad had brown eyes; my sister and I have blue eyes. Our brother has brown eyes.”
It happens. My wife has brown eyes and one ancestor with blue. I have blue eyes. Kids are split 50/50 blue and brown.
In your case, I am assuming your mom has blue eyes (for the math). Your dad has one blue and one brown gene, which expresses are brown.
50/50 shot at kids having blue eyes.
If both parents have brown eyes (but one recessive), its 25% blue /75% brown.
It is possible Castro had an ancestor with blue eyes. If so, this is statistically possible. A lot of Castro’s siblings have pretty light brown eyes. That indicates a possible recessive gene floating around.
It just makes things more unlikely.
FWIW, Trudeau’s legal father, Pierre, had blue eyes, as did his mother. So if Justin had any color but blue, we would know she stepped out.
As it sits, it’s just statistically unlikely (but possible) that Castro is the dad.
It is therefore quite possible that Fidel Castro, who was 100% European by ancestry, had the recessive gene for blue eyes.
The infamous photos of her in New York’s Studio 54 “sans coulottes” means access to her was easy, even in public
I agree. It’d be a bit of a fluke.
Assume the grandpa (who looks to have brown eyes) had a recessive gene. Chance of passing on to Fidel are 50%.
Then Fidel passing that to Justin 50%.
So it’s a 1/4 chance (1/2 * 1/2).
It’s possible, just unlikely.
She is correct and she did have Fidel’s bastard kid.
Just think what he must sound like when he starts to oh nevermind
Nowadays, she would probably be considered a Bi-Polar Nymphomaniac, and offered medications or psychotherapy to help control all of her inconvenient ‘urges’.
From wiki...
On May 5, 2006, Trudeau announced she has bipolar disorder.[31] Since then, she advocated for reducing the social-stigma of mental illnessâbipolar disorder in particularâwith speaking engagements across North America.
In 2010, she authored Changing My Mind, a book about her personal experience with bipolar disorder
There are similarities in the nose and chin cleft if you do a side-by-side with Pierre as well.
