Excellent description of how Barack Obama slithered into the White House.

Never underestimate the gullibility of people searching for a new mommy and the easy way out.

Remember the lyrics to “Share The Land” by The Guess Who:

Maybe I’ll be there to shake your hand
(Shake your hand)
Maybe I’ll be there to share the land
(Share the land)
That they’ll be givin’ away
When we’re all living together,
We’re talkin’ ‘bout together, now

“Excellent description of how Barack Obama slithered into the White House.”

The first time I saw Obama when he was running for president, he was 30 points behind Mrs. Clinton. I told my wife right then that he will beat her. I knew Mrs. Clinton was a horrible candidate, and Obama had the right toolset to win the Dem primaries.

My then 70 year old mother saw him on TV. She is not a consumer of political literature, though she votes the right way. She said, knowing he was bad news, that he would win because he was handsome.

I always think of the refrain of “Only a Fool Would Say That” by Steely Dan:

I heard it was you
Talkin’ ‘bout a world where all is free
It just couldn’t be
And only a fool would say that
