Cornyn received 42% in the GOP primary with several running. There’s some question as to whether he’ll even hit 40% in the runoff. Turnout not in his favor? Voters taking a closer look and said “Nope to Cornyn”?

I originally wanted Paxton for US Attorney General when Trump won in 2024, but he should make Senator now instead, and hopefully bring a strong voice to the judiciary committee.
I believe they will. I used to vote for Cornyn, because he was the Republican on the ticket. Until this time, everyone in my family voted Paxton. A lot of voters were told that “only Cornyn can beat the democrat,” and they voted for Cornyn on that belief. But now that Paxton is going to be the candidate, they’ll vote for him.
That development alone is something worth wild celebration.
Al already knows what he can do with that crooked old cane purchased on Amazon.
