People are dead, protestors, from the FBI. That was negligent homocide, those are felonies, that’s prison time. The FBI knew exactly what it was doing. It was a Seditious conspiracy against the American people.
Yet, once again, nothing will happen to
The perpetrators.
“Yet, once again, nothing will happen to
The perpetrators.”
Your conclusion would only work if life were a video game, or a Hollywood movie.
Because understanding real life takes a lot more thinking than living in a fantasy world.
When will the statue of limitations be out for Seditious Conspiracy?
I’m not going to say that this is how the FBI typically works, because I have no idea. But it has definitely been seen before, even if it’s not SOP, where groups were infiltrated and then basically lead along for the purposes of entrapment. The ‘Whitmer kidnapping plot’ comes to mind as an example.
But this isn’t human traffickers or gang-bangers or international arms dealing. What lends credence to the notion that this was a political conspiracy is the stage that it was on. You just don’t use the election ratification event as a place to ensnare some supposed do-badders. It’s too big for that. You don’t enter chat rooms and prod people into doing things they might not otherwise have done in this situation! Say what you want about the process of entrapment in general (and debate whether people are still culpable for their own actions if being led and misled), but the only reason to put that many agents into this thing in any way that isn’t preventative is because you wanted bad things to happen.
