I know you said Sonny was the nicest person you ever met. How did you meet him?

I saw Sonny at Symphony Hall in Atlanta. Being a professional musician, I know how to get backstage, so after the show, my then girlfriend and I headed down the passageway to the Green Room (which is never green, they're usually blue), just hoping to shake his hand and get an autograph.

And here comes Sonny Rollins! He left something on stage, and was going to retrieve it. So it was just me and him, talking shop for a good ten minutes, before he had to go.
