Two things: Trump wants and needs to get out of this mess, and yes, the people of Iran need to step up. We can’t afford to have Democrats take over Congress.

And another thing, calling the war unnecessary and at the same time recommending to keep it going is discrediting him.
And yes, the people of Iran must step up, but we need to signal to them, we will not concede their freedoms to the insane regime in Teheran. They deserve better.
Honestly? I don’t give a big fat F about the people in Iran. If they want rid of the current regime they need to ‘step up’ and just do it. We maybe should help with weapons, intelligence, etc.....but I’m sick of fighting other people’s wars.
