Yep, I had been taking Jarrow NAČ Sustain for years, paired with Black Elderberry capsules to keep my sinus infections and allergies under control. In the middle of lockdown, all NAC supplements were suddenly removed from the shelves and Amazon. It was because people were passing info online that it helped with COVID protocol.I even contacted Jarrow and chewed them out. They shrugged and said, “FDA mandate.” Two years later it was back on the shelves again.

She put a horse-sized syringe full of glutathione into my Vitamin C IV that day.

Real early on, end of March, 2020, there was the story on FR from NY Post where glutathione was used in a rescue infusion for the mother of a guy who desperately contacted his college biochem prof for any hail Mary he could offer for treatment. NAC had been under clinical trial for something in the early ‘60s but failed, I don’t know what the indication was to have been. As a failed drug, it was eligible to be marketed as a “supplement” which is what kept it alive OTC. Bezos knuckled under when FDA under color of authority tried to suppress its use (nothing to increase vaccine resistance opinion) but the manufacturers fought back, it was still widely available with local pharmacists even with toeing the FDA line ahd rejecting rxs for hydroxychloroquin, served up with a lecture. Te manufacturers actually stared FDA down. NAC has several widely applied off label uses and glutathione is standard treatment for life threatening Tylenol overdose.
