What kind of doctor gives you a shot for a sinus infection. If his sinus infection was bacterial, then a course of oral antibiotics is the standard of care.

seems like a good guess ... i can’t imagine a legitimate doc would inject antibiotics for pneumonia or the like and say “well now you’re good to go” ...
