Why the big story about an obvious nut case? That said, I don’t believe we landed on the moon sixty years ago... the technology just didn’t exist to pull that off.

The moon landing deniers are disrespectful of the 383,000+ Americans who worked on the Apollo program and who successfully landed Americans on the Moon.
The moon landings showed us that our idea of how old the Moon is, was incorrect. The lunar landers were fitted with very large snow shoes because they theorized that landing on the moon with its feet of dust would be dangerous. But when we, the United States of America, landed on the Moon, the dust was only a fraction of an inch. Further, the surface of the Moon was carefully mapped, and the presence of every crater located. But in the years that have elapsed since that glorious moment when Neal Armstrong first stepped on the Moon, humans have continued to map the surface of the Moon. From these data one can derive the actual crater deposition rate on the Moon, and from this rate one can compute back how old the Moon is, by counting all of the craters and dividing by the crater rate. The evolutionists will be sad, but the Moon is not billions of years old.
