My last visit-gas had to be put in my car by the attendant.
Not needed in most of the eastern(our sort) counties. Go up/down US97 And not once in the last few years have I needed to have someone pump gas. They changed the law a while back. Most of I84 is the same.
I think New Jersey and Oregon are the only states doing that.
You can pump your own gas in Oregon now. Stations are still required to have an attendant for those needing help.
