Shredders can't stir emotions like this guy. A true master.
I first was introduced to his playing when he was part of John Mayall and the Blues Breakers and they were touring in support of the album Chicago Line.
In 1989 they played a small dinner club in Seattle.
The second guitar player was Coco Montoya, an expert in his own right.

I spoke to him for a while after a concert a few years ago, mostly about his post-liver-transplant life. Very nice guy. That said, shredders certainly can stir emotions if you’re a fan of shredding (I’m not).
