Not too far off from going to a concert or NFL game. Rush is playing four concerts in Fort Worth next month, nosebleed seats are around $350 before fees. Eagles play in Arlington next week, tickets are a bit lower, but again, we’re talking extreme nosebleed seats.

I was tempted, considering their opening act was the Tedeschi Trucks Band. Fortunately, my brain kicked into gear.

If you are flexible, buy the tickets on the day of the show. A few years ago, our daughter purchased three field level tickets to Taylor Swift at State Farm Stadium in Glendale AZ for about $300 each. A week before the show they were $3,000 each. Our friend’s daughter did the same thing a few weeks later at Mile High Stadium in Denver.
