Good post, yours. There’s a decent chance that this poor kid is being manipulated for various reasons. And none of those reasons are good.
A related story: I worked for many years in a large urban school district. The ultra-work administrators decided to hire as a teacher a wheelchair-bound man with cerebral palsy. I knew him personally.
This guy was paraded around the district as evidence of how progressive the administration was.
Then the guy was assigned to a school, and was literally abandoned. The kids destroyed him. And the administration did nothing to help. He quit before the year was out.
In my post 31: ultra-woke administrators, not ultra-work administrators.
