Hi L. Once again, you speak the truth. When i survey my synapses from 1979 to this year, I wonder what some were taught when they sat in an American history class in school if they were not around when the Ayatollah took over from the Shah in 1978-9. Then, I look at their “joining” date of 2019 like Captain Walker, and realize that it is important to know history even if not educated. Personally, I know that those that are ignorant of history are quick to show it, so I usually don’t try to correct them. But I admire those, like you, that do, sand keep the record accurate. Maybe Captain Walker was cutting class the weeks they taught about the Iranian conflict. Thank you.
You would drop my name without putting me on the post?
Captain Walker knows that there are always two sides to a story, so he read a little more than what the school curriculum required. That's when he learned that the government that was overthrown in 1979 was nothing more than a puppet government friendly to US and UK interests. It was an illegitimate government that had no moral standing.
I understand Iranian history began in 1979, because if it starts there, then the Greatest Country in the World can pretend to have clean hands. (If it starts in 1953, then it can't.)
