Last summer I was hospitalized for treatment of leukemia. One of my blood tests revealed a norovirus infection. I had none of the symptoms. They sent some of my poo to the Mayo Clinic for testing, which revealed no virus.
Still, the hospital could take no chances so I was in full norovirus protocol for several days.
