Depending on how things work out, the GCC countries could end up deciding that China is a better partner than the US, due to their higher level of influence in Iran and with Iran’s biggest ally, Russia. That would hasten the end of the petrodollar and advance Xi’s multi-polar world. I wouldn’t be the slightest bit surprised if Xi is pulling Iran’s strings to achieve that outcome. It would be a huge geopolitical shift and a big win for China, Russia and Iran. I see Russia is already moving back into Tartus in Syria, maybe a sign of things to come.
Insubordination? Are we supposed to be “subordinate” to the whim of Trump? He doesn’t include Congress, declares war on his own, and if we don’t agree, we are “insubordinate” to the President?
