That affected area doesn’t look a bit like the necrotic suppurating wound on my calf when I was bitten 46 years ago. It happened when I was in the Army, no hospital or days off duty. The clinic PA cleaned it daily with hydrogen peroxide while taking away the dead skin. Local antibiotic cream plus a shot.
