I have feeling that a lot of these people are going to be very disappointed later in life. They may be able to convince themselves now that not getting married and not having kids is what they want, but as they get older, they are going to realize how empty life is without a family and children.
I’m still waiting on my kids getting married and having children. But I can tell you, when you reach my age, if you don’t have grandkids, there is a void there.
Of course I don’t want to force them into marriage and kids, unless it’s the right partner, but still. I am envious of people my age with grandkids.
I predict some late-term emptiness in my family. Oh well, I’ll probably be gone before any of them see the light.
