Hantavirus is not normally transmitted from person to person. While the strain in play now IS, it is still very difficult to catch: 1%-to-3% chance of contracting it even after directly ncountering someone who has it.
If it was picked up in Argentina, as they say, there should be thousands of Argentinians dead in the streets by now.
