Will we allow Koranic culture and sharia law to take Texas too?
There’s no denying that large-scale activities taken by any Muslim transplants will likely raise red flags for the American community already there. That’s just what happened to the community originally called EPIC City, for East Plano Islamic Center, now renamed as “The Meadow.” Gov. Greg Abbott and Attorney General Ken Paxton became very suspicious of the planned development and filed several lawsuits, alleging the developers were “implementing Sharia Law and creating a no-go zone for non-Muslims.”
While Paxton and Abbott successfully delayed the development, last week a judge ruled that the Texas Workforce Commission must meet the original terms of the agreement; the state will appeal.
The developers plan to build K–12 faith-based schools, and they’re not being clear about the curriculum they plan to implement, and to what degree Islamic subjects will be taught. Although there could be a move to include sharia law in part or in its entirety in the development, the developers claim they will follow the laws of Texas. It will include retail shops, as well as a mosque.
And one has to wonder about its leadership—a primary figure working for the development, Yasir Qadhi, was criticized in 2010 for saying the following:
‘Hitler never intended to destroy the Jews’ and ‘that Hitler never actually intended to massacre the Jews, he actually wanted to expel them to neighboring lands.’ He later apologized for this and went on a trip to Auschwitz as part of a delegation.
Has he really had a change of heart or were his actions just for show?
The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-Texas), which purports to defend the civil rights of all Muslims, made the following statement in response to the new ruling:

They need to be treated as a cult, not a religion.
Imagine if the Mormons were Islamists rather than a Christian based group.
I was reading an article this morning about how Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Latvia, and several other countries realized the dangerous outcome of allowing the Muslims to form closed communities within their country. They have begun closing immigration and deporting anyone who does not learn their native languages. They have also closed the door to government handouts to anyone that is not a citizen of their country.
In addition, France has tightened birthright citizenship laws, particularly in Mayotte, requiring that both parents must have legally resided in France for one year for their child to obtain French nationality. This change is part of a broader trend of increasing restrictions on citizenship rights across Europe.

Everyone who has eyes to see knows this is creeping Islam into a society that is incompatible with Islam. Gaining a foothold is Islams initial objective on the road to domination and the totalitarian rule over all kafirs on the road to establishing a world Caliphate. CAIR is the sneaky front for Islam according to effecting the takeover. It’s been this way since the inception of Islam and there is absolutely no reason to believe it will ever change. What we have going on is the Biblical battle for good over evil, playing out in this earthly realm between Allah’s warriors and God’s faithful. Let none of us be snookered into what’s going on.
Florida courts, administrative bodies, arbitration panels, or other tribunals cannot apply or enforce any provision of foreign law or religious law (explicitly including Sharia law) if it violates rights guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution or Florida Constitution. Thanks Gov Ron! Perhaps Texas should take note.
Deep down, what we really need is another spiritual awakening, which I think has started. We need to recognize again that we are made in God's image and our American culture is worth protecting. It's not just that Islam is a totalitarian control-freak cult and political ideology. It's also that we have a culture worth preserving.
Which is the same way to deal with the leftists. IMHO on FR we talk too much about tactics (i.e. how to vote out the Dims) and not enough about cultural-level motivation. Our fellow Americans won't be as motivated as we are unless we further along the great awakening (I call it the 4th one, assuming the mid 20th century set of revivals was enough to call the 3rd great awakening). Our culture is better than both the hedonism left and the throat-slitting Muslims.

I wonder if our founders did not believe Islam was a religion, or if they simply could not comprehend a future where we willingly allowed Muslims into the country. Given their contemporary experience and understanding of Islam I find it hard to believe the 1st amendment was meant to protect it within our borders.
Yea, let’s let followers of Satan’s alternate to the Torah set up a little Iran here in the States, nothing to see here, nothing to worry about...
Sharia Law is absolutely unconstitutional and does not belong in America at all. Period.

Correct. This cannot be allowed. They will “say” they won’t impose Sharia Law and will do it anyway.
And their “cultural communities” will become no-go zones. One little milestone in their plan to take over the world and make it an islamic caliphate.
