Newsmax ^

Terms such as "historic" and "game-changing" were used by to describe the outcome of the nationally watched Republican primaries for state Senate in the Hoosier State.

No less than five of the Trump-backed challengers unseated incumbents. Only two GOP senators have been defeated in primaries in the last 40 years.

The outcome of the primaries will not affect the shape of Indiana's U.S. House districts until 2027.

Thank you very much and God bless you.

Bummer they can't make another attempt this year-could be counter productive. The incumbents were long on tooth and just plain stale. It would be nice if this momentum would allow us to 'steal' a democrat seat in November. It shows we ain't messin' around and it will encourage other wobbly ones to call it a career.

My once POTUS crush Mitch Daniels was against it. Good that he’s too old too.

Very happy to see many of the Pence/Lugar RINO’s get primaried. Too bad ALL of them weren’t voted out (I think, what, two survived?) but this will hopefully tilt Hoosier politics away from the camp of Benedict Pence.

Taking the defeat of the RINO state senators in conjunction with the victory of Ramaswamy in the Ohio GOP gubernatorial primary, President Trump retains a loyal core support among Republican voters. This is good news for Lindsey Graham, and bad news for Thomas Massie and Bill Cassidy.

I remember when Bratt beat Cantor and how big of a deal that was.

Texas Bush-RINO primary not yet over.

Neither is GA’s Kemp-Ratensburger-endorsed RINO primary.

So, the influence of a sitting president plus the millions of dollars of outside money flowing to the favored GOP candidates...resulted in 5 wins out of 7 state races. In a heavily Republican state.

Any other outcome would have been embarrassing.

Better to wait to celebrate until after the November election, and make sure none of those seats go to D's. If even one does, the Democrats will claim a symbolic victory.

This November is going to be a strange election.

RINO season’s been good nationwide. The Turtle and Tillis are “retiring” this year. Cornyn is toast. Cassidy is toast. We’ll see how Lindsey Graham does in South Carolina.

Before the terms the Republican wing of the uniparty, Deep State, GOP elite, and RINO came to be the operative term was Rockefeller Republicans.

And the Midwest was as much their home as New York.

The “old guard” that opposed Reagan and some might say cheated Reagan out of the nomination in 76 were Midwesterns.

Ford, Lugar, Michel et al.

NEVER forget Tricky Dickey Cheney was a Rockefeller Republican of the first order and was Warren Commissioner Gerry Ford’s Chief of Staff.

Reagan wanted NO part of Cheney in 1980 and exiled him to his home state though not the state he was born.

Cheney “reinvented” himself as a “conservative” as did Daddy Bush who was born in Massachusetts and Jethro Bodine Bush who was born in Connecticut.

As I like to say they went to Texas and got a fake “conservative” tan that wore off really quick when the got to DC.

Rockefeller Republicans or RINOs or just plain traitors who voted for Crooked Hillary or wrote in a name or whatever but NEVER voted for Trump as I and most folks on this forum have done THREE TIMES.

Per wikipedia there are 50 senators in the Indiana statehouse. 40 republican and only 10 democrats-really. So how did this happen? With that big of a majority we could vote a democrat in for 4 years just to show we aren’t feffin’ around. It wouldn’t change anything with ‘only’ 38 republicans left. What it would do is light a fire under the asses of those turncoats who are up in ‘28. How many others are there?
