“Do you know what the SPLC was doing?
Do you understand anything about what’s happening?”
What I understand is that SPLC was paying people to infiltrate the KKK and other groups that it targeted. This was either the time-honored practice of paying informants (and SPLC shared some of its info with the FBI), or was deliberate fomenting of some of the violent racism that SPLC purported to oppose.
I further understand that the issue will be tried in court — but hasn’t been, yet.
Now, do you understand that the mere accusation hasn’t “brought down” anyone?
In the 1980s, SPLC won a civil case against United Klans of America, in connection with a lynching. As a result of the judgment, the UKA went bankrupt. It had to turn over its headquarters to the lynching victim’s mother. THAT’S what it means to say that an organization was “brought down.” Patel isn’t there yet.
The SPLC has always worked with the KKK.
Their game has been to pretend they oppose the KKK.
Demonstrating their low IQ, they took Saul Alinsky seriously when he advised radicals to dress up in KKK uniforms and then pretend to be conservatives.
