Isn’t YouTube waging a war on alleged AI slop, demonetizing channels all over the site...?

AI channels seem to come in waves on a given subject, politics, history, war, etc. It makes is harder for a automated system to detect and screen them out. When several channels all act the same way, it looks legitimate until enough people report it.
