Wish more were willing to part with their money though, and donate to things like infrastructure improvements. Not just donate, but oversee — instead of the government.

Trump's trying to do that, but the Dims are blocking it every way they can. The WH ballroom project isn't costing taxpayers a dime. And no president in history has as much experience with high end real estate development as Trump. The same with Trump 1.0's term and people/industries donating to build the wall.

I understand how the lawfare applies to WH, but aside from that and even the presidency — there are things in billionaires’ own backyards that can use some upkeep and improvement: things they utilize too like: crumbling bridges, aging highways, graffiti-ed landmarks, etc...
