It’s bad enough when leftists lie. It’s worse when they openly tell the truth.
Leftists are no longer hiding their plans to take your guns if they ever gain power. That means it’s time to get activated in defending freedom.
The gun-grabber ghouls of the left have always played a little game incrementally demanding more control over a commonsense and constitutional civil right. Though they used to occasionally say the quiet part out loud, things have changed. They’ve never been as blatant about it as they are now.
In the past, the ghouls had the advantage that history had yet to be made in other Western countries, so they could brush off the very real accusations that they were ultimately out to confiscate guns. They could say we were being paranoid or toss off some variation of the infamous line that “no one is talking about taking your guns.”
But now guns have been confiscated around the world. Even worse, the facile promises of safety from these actions have failed to materialize. We now have the advantage of hindsight, to the point that the ghouls can no longer dismiss the gun confiscation accusation as “extreme.” We can now easily point to the U.K., Australia, and Canada, so they’ve changed their tactics.
The ghouls used to also wait for a “mass shooting” tragedy to advance their schemes, exploiting other people’s pain for their political gain. They are no longer even bothering to wait for those moments, but are simply pushing anti-liberty legislation as fast as they can write it. And so the gun-grabbing ghouls are seizing the moment — along with the property from innocent people.

When they tell you what they plan to do, you should believe them.
The 2A is common sense. Gun control is not.
I devoutly wish they would ACTUALLY try direct confiscation of firearms from Americans. I want to watch how far down the FIRST block a deputy or police officer gets in that attempted gun roundup.
Why would a law enforcement officer want to die trying to take firearms away from law-abiding citizens who have a constitutional right to keep and bear arms?
Most cops want to go home after a shift and not end up in a body bag.
Yeah, I remember when a lot of gun owners got pissed at Bush #1, and decided to sit out the 1992 election “just to show him”. They sure “showed him” all right, and got the Clinton/Democrat assault weapon & magazine ban for their efforts. Hope history doesn’t repeat itself this year, but I’m seeing more than a few dunces on the gun forums talking about not voting this fall because “Trump did or didn’t [fill-in-the-blank]!!!”...

Once leftists take your guns they own you and they will be well on there way to new world order/one world gov’t. That’s was geo. bush’s dream. Lefts must take your guns to succeed.
They won’t have to come for the guns, they’ll go after the ammunition, without the ammunition, guns are just paperweights.
Agreed, turn out is the deciding factor in Nov 2026. Big turnout is the result of a good ground game, especially when the office of President is not on the ballot.
I suggest a competition. MAGA in GA, PA, MI, WI, etc challenge each other to TURNOUT competition.
I know. I routinely ask people who are worried about the breakdown of society about how much ammo they have on hand. I am shocked by the number of times they reply that they have two or maybe three boxes and seem proud that they are so well prepared. That is just a short trip to the range to practice for me. And I try to have at least two firearms for each cartridge type I shoot because with a failure two is one and one is none.
That depends. The Second Amendment makes sense in an irrational world. Gun control makes sense in a rational one.
Guess which one we live in. But beyond that the Second Amendment certainly helps prod people to behave rationally. It has a civilizing effect. Gun control means irrational people can feel quite confident in ignoring the boundaries of civilized behavior. So gun control only makes sense if humans always behave in a rational, civilized manner making worries about being victim of crime unnecessary.
Gun control is part of the Left’s vision of Utopia. And that vision is what makes the Left so dangerous.
Some folks will give them the bullets first. One at a time.
There has never been a shortage of people who want to stick it to their fellow citizens in any tyranny, communist hell hole, etc. did the Milice back down from founding up and/or killing their fellow Frenchmen in WWII? No. Did the Kamer Rouge not kill thousands of their fellow citizens? They did. Did the Gestapo turn away from murdering millions. No. So don’t count on the police not to round up gun owners.
Democrats ARE the killers and criminals - check out the politics of any prison or jail... Time for Republicans to hire a few ‘poll takers’ - they can study the reality of democrat voters - all of ‘em - not just’ the elite’ primary voters.
