My Father in law used to stop for every kind of roadkill. Possums, turtles, you name it. And my sister in law, his daughter, once got the call in Ohio to pick up a roadkill deer because they were next on the list. Her husband was away so she picked the deer up and skinned it in their garage by herself. She was an emergency room nurse for years.
