I can’t get away from the Sika company. They make very good products under absolutely horrible management.

I worked there for almost 20 years till I was given an offer I couldn’t refuse...Leave.

I got to be part of a reorganization. Gee, that was fun.

What I really liked was they made me sign a one-year non-compete in exchange for six months wages. The lawyer at my new employer managed to get that canceled.

Given such a wonderful opportunity, I had no choice but to move 600 miles and live apart from my family for eight months until we could sell our house during the 2009 depression. Wow, even more fun.

Yea, even though I love my current job and have some national notoriety because of it, I’m not angry.

I didn’t even get angry years later when I met my niece’s boyfriend and found out that he had my old job.
