Stupid comment. For most of human history, women were helped through the birthing process by midwives. Men were not part of the process except in instances when complications arose and a physician needed to be consulted.
Giving birth in hospitals is a modern development and only became commonplace in the past 200 years. Prior to that, women typically gave birth at home, with the assistance of a midwife.
