There has to be some central document / documents that list who is in the IRGC. These people also have neighbors who know they are IRGC.
IMHO we and the Israelis should make every effort to find out who is in the IRGC, threaten to publish the names widely among the resistance and the general populace, then do it if they don’t surrender. Then use this information to find them and eliminate them if they continue to threaten.
They have used the resources of the people to build their tunnels and infrastructure to protect themselves and their weapons. They cannot be allowed to continue existing as an entity in Iran. To let them is just another way of kicking the can down the road. They have committed grievous crimes against their own people and the world. Letting them escape justice is like letting the Nazi’s continue to hold power after the world discovered the Holocaust.
The Israelis I feel certain know exactly who and where the command and control structure of the various Iranian forces are located. If they can pull off the Hezzbollah beeper operation they can pinpoint where the enemy are located. One reason there has been a lull is the need to replenish and relocate men and material.
