Some high-end brands are quietly moving back to analog gauges because they look special and give a car more character.


I got used to my digital seiko watch, but they stopped making them, fashion said analog back in style.

Some high-end brands are quietly moving back to analog gauges because they look special and give a car more character.

If you have something low end, hang on to it. It will be replaced by something "high end". Then the high end will be discarded for something truly high end - which is the former low end.

This comment is off topic- If you like watches - I suggest upper end mechanical watches- reason batteries/parts for electronic watches will be scarce in future.

I do not not wear a watch these days, however have quite a few - mostly mechanical

Vaer and Timex make lovely analog watches (quartz) with nothing on the face but actual Arabic numerals and a small face for the second hand. A bit pricey ($300) but still just right.
