Dianna Russini has resigned from her job at the Athletic after Page Six published photos of her at a luxury hotel with New England Patriots coach Mike Vrabel.
The veteran NFL reporter shared the news in a letter to Athletic Executive Editor Steven Ginsberg, obtained by Page Six.
“I have covered the NFL with professionalism and dedication throughout my career, and I stand behind every story I have ever published,” the letter said. “When the Page Six item first appeared, The Athletic supported me unequivocally, expressed confidence in my work and pride in my journalism. For that I am grateful.”

Not the point. Quid pro quo relationship. That would be allegedly sex for stories. Vrabel is actually more to blame for the situation than she is. She in a manner of speaking prostituted herself. He took advantage of that situation in a position of power. All of this of course allegedly. But she doesn’t resign if there was even a shred of her story that was true.

LOL. Russini is in her 40s and Vrabel is 50 I think. So at least it isn't as bad as Belichick and his, uh, embarrassing, great-granddaughter-aged girlfriend.
This is a free country. Everyone is free to sleep with anyone they want, without public criticism.

Vrabel’s turnaround of the Patriots was pretty impressive.
Because they don’t want people know where it is they’re going. I had a friend who worked for a multi-millionaire but he refused to drive because of the insurance liability.
