As Iran sinks, the Kurdish star must rise. (Kurdistan independence)

Supporting an independent Kurdish state — carved from Kurdish majority regions in northwestern collapsing Iran and neighboring areas in northern Iraq, northeastern Syria, and southeastern Turkey — would be the ultimate strategic masterstroke.(These regions could first exist as autonomous entities within their countries, as is already the case in Iraq, with a concrete plan for eventual unification.)

Thank you very much and God bless you.

First article I've read that speaks so strongly on the subject. First introduced by one senator Joe Biden. It would lead to more fighting. All 4 countries would try to nip it in the bud-too much to lose. Continued fighting amongst muslims has been good for the west but Trump's actions against Iran could move the needle. Sunni/Sharia conflicts continue but their one commonality id the destruction of Israel.

If they’re willing to recognize Israel it will go the way of Somaliland-fast forward.

Perhaps the time to advocate all this potential turmoil was when Senator Biden brought it up. We were there shooting up the place and angry. Kurds were angry too. We may be on the road to a more peaceful place now and it might not be in the best interests to help Kurds stir up trouble.

Sounds like a “two-state” solution.

Drop bombs on IRGC commanders.

Airdrop money on the nearest regular army bases.

Aren’t these the people who kept the guns and ammo we gave them to give to Iranians to fight back?

What does Turkey say? Because they hate each other.

They’ll need the guns when the Iranians are only one of the countries attacking them.

A Kurdish independent state carved out of western Iran is totally unacceptable to Turkey and would be a causus belli to the Turks. That is why when the Kurds offered to aid in regime change in Iran, Trump had to refuse them so as not to precipitate a wider war involving Turkey. Israel views this time as a golden opportunity to destroy an existential threat to its existence. The Kurds also view this as a unique opportunity to fulfill their dream of a Kurdistan.

EVERY strain of Islam follows a guy who married a girl at age 6 and had intercourse with her at age 9!!!!! Not to mention his mass murders.

Maybe it’s time for a ‘new’ old country called ‘Persia’.

Kurdistan and Iran joined together for the good of all and named Persia to encompass everyone in that general region.

Right. Erdogan would never allow this to happen. It is a nice idea but just a pipe dream.
