I am the only person in the world with my name, for better or worse.
Same here, and I've done enough genealogy research to have confidence I'm the only one to ever bear my first/last name combo. My surname translates as "vagrant" so, yeah, not common. And my forebears were notoriously rigid in how they named boys after fathers/uncles etc. until a few generations ago, and no one with me first name ever seems to have married into the clan, at least back to the 1600's.
Interestingly, there is one fellow almost the same age as me in a neighboring state who has the same name *phonetically* but with several differences in spelling. A couple years ago a man called our office and when he heard my name called out he asked to speak with me. Turns out his niece was married to the fellow.
