Yeah, but there are people who really believe all that stuff.
There’s folks who believe in something called *grounding*, claiming that one needs to walk on the actually earth, and grass, in bare feet to get their bodies properly aligned with earth’s magnetic field cause wearing shoes interferes with it.
As if wearing shoes shields you from the massive electromagnetic fields of the earth (the ones that give us auroras).

I have heard stories about people grounding their beds, somehow, and reporting relief from insomnia. Sounded whacky, but in one case the guy swore by it.
