In the New Testament, she is lauded both as an example of a saint who lived by faith,[1] and as someone “considered righteous” for her good works.
Lying for the sake of peace, for the sake of some overarching cause, such as saving lives, gaining victory in a war, those are permissible.
Lying to get more profit while violating others’ cherished beliefs, however, is a big no-no, even if that belief is Islam. So is claiming you’re a moderate while really you’re a meat puppet for leftard oligarchs, or calling an obviously senile man “sharp as a tack,” is even bigger.
