I dunno. Harry doesn’t strike me as a fully-fledged grown-up yet. Sounds like Roger is looking forward the day he fully retires (or can’t play) and is making sure Harry already has a comfortable gig he can handle by being ensconced in a Pink Floyd tribute band!
…For example: “Speaking about joining Brit Floyd, he said: ‘I’ve never met any of them, but I’ll just turn up and play. I’ve been playing this music for 30 years or so. I think we’ll be OK without rehearsal. I think we all know the material pretty well.’”
…That doesn’t sound to me like something a professional with his own ideas about his own band would say.
