She was addicted to heroin for 15 years. Got on it to escape from effects of past traumas. Died from a cerebral hemorrhage after a medical event caused her to fall from a bicycle and hit her head in Ibiza, an island off Spain.

Who or what is this person who died in the age of bicycles, but has something to do with velvet. Somehow I missed this during my 87 year life time. How is it important?
