How much does it cost to be on course for the Masters? Who’s allowed on?
I took golf lessons at a public golf course in San Francisco, not far from the ocean. My vision sux, couldn’t find the ball, but still love the game, watch every weekend on tv. Rory McIlroy played on that course and Colin Morikawa was tied for first there in his first professional game.
So that cheap public course is, I understand, some kind of a pricey club course now. But don’t stop looking for a good public course. Golf is fun.
My dad went to the Masters, as a spectator, several times from the 60’s to the 90’s. Just a country boy from Georgia who played golf left handed. He liked what he called the mobile scenery there as well.
I don’t know. There is a lottery every year for a certain number of grounds passes and I entered every year for ten years - I wanted to take
My golf-nut Dad. But I never got selected. For all its elitism, The Master’s has kept prices quite low I understand.
The only way for the general public to get tickets these days is to apply via a lottery on the masters website. There are lifetime badges, but those aren't available anymore for new patrons.
