Reza Pahlavi Addressing Iran's Military: Call to Action
Reza Pahlavi ^ | 4-7-26 | Reza Pahlavi

Posted on 04/08/2026 5:22:52 AM PDT by nuconvert

"You are the heirs of this land's patriotic and honorable commanders — from Aryobarzan, Bahram Chobin, and Surena, to Babak Khorramdin, Yaqub Laith, and Maziar, to Jahanbani, Khosrowdad, and Rahimi.

How can you remain silent and inactive in the face of foreign criminal agents affiliated with the Islamic Republic parading and boasting in Iran's streets — from Hashd al-Shaabi and Lebanese Hezbollah to Afghan and Pakistani terrorists?

The Islamic Republic and its terrorist, repressive IRGC have, before your very eyes, slaughtered tens of thousands of the purest and bravest children of this country, and each day send more to their deaths. These occupiers of Iran's soil, with their destructive and apocalyptic madness, have brought the country to the brink of annihilation.

How have you closed your eyes to these realities and withdrawn from your role in defending the homeland and its people? How will history and future generations of Iran judge you?

Remember your national and patriotic oath and commitment. Take to the field. Defend the honor and credibility of Iran's national army against the Islamic Republic and its foreign mercenaries.

And to you, the great nation of Iran: With a resounding voice, demand the national role of the army. Ask them to fulfill their duty to the homeland and the nation. Before it is too late, stand alongside the nation and save Iran.

Long live Iran, Reza Pahlavi

This was made yesterday hours before the ceasefire.

The regular army (Artesh) is afraid of the IRGC. It's been hoped for a long time that they would take up arms against them, but as I've been told, they would only do it if they really saw the IRGC defeated, because they'd be slaughtered.

What are the relative numbers of the army troops to those of the (now reduced) IRGC? In particular, I wonder what is the makeup of the various forces in terms of equipment, leadership, organization and training?

IOW, does the regular army have much of a chance in face-to-face combat.

IOW they're not much of an army.

The good news is that the IRGC and Basij deserve a good slaughtering.
Best to get it done before they melt into the woodwork.

I have seen refernces online to Donald Trump not being much of a fan of Reza Pahlavi but I have not seen any explanation or basis in fact as to why this might be the case.

We haven’t heard much about this guy for the past couple of weeks (or Iran regime change, for that matter).

Reza Pahlavi. Isn’t he the guy who screwed his brother’s wife? That brother was so distraught he committed suicide. Is it that same Reza Pahlavi?

As far as pure numbers they have about double of the troops than IRGC.
But they are just draftees, badly trained and badly armed.
Will see how this sorts out.

Israel and the US left the entire Artesh Leadership in place - not one has been eliminated. I wonder if the Prince’s plan is not beginning. I certainly hope so. His plan was to have an interim government (with elections), and transition to a new government. We cannot install a government, as it would have disastrous results. So I guess, we will have to wait and see what is developing behind the scenes. At any rate, I hope they keep our bayonet on the neck of the IRCG. Tomorrow should be more clear.

Kings always want to “king.”

I am sure he would be better than the mullahs. I am skeptical about his long term aspirations.

Internal Iranian affairs should not be our business beyond what they export to other countries.

As John Roberts (FoxNews host) reported, there are a lot of Iranian ex-pats disappointed in this ceasefire without regime change.

Trump made statements in the past, that he thought Pahlavi was a nice guy, but he’d been out of Iran for too long, and wanted someone on the ground who was already part of the gov’t in some way. Pahlavi has maintained close connections inside Iran all these years. So, I don’t agree with needing someone who was already part of the current gov’t.
Maybe Trump didn’t think that Pahlavi had enough military might behind him to be able to handle a takeover at this point.
Unfortunately, the average person there who was willing to give their life for Pahlavi & REAL ACTUAL regime change, is going to be totally defeated by this outcome, if it stands.
The IRGC is in charge of their lives. They’ll loosen up some dress codes for women (no hijab) but people will be arrested, tortured, executed as usual...Except now their country is in ruins and all the factories where they used to have jobs are gone. Sounds like the recipe for a mass exodus.

“Israel and the US left the entire Artesh Leadership in place - not one has been eliminated”

Actually, that isn’t true. A number of high ranking members were killed, along with some others & equipment. On the whole, though, they were not attacked like the Basij & IRGC.

Ghalibaf is who Trump has apparently chosen as the new head of Iran’s gov’t. He’s a thug with lots of blood on his hands. For whatever reason, Trump describes him as “less radical”. Whatever that means? Maybe it means he wouldn’t slit his mother’s throat, he’d shoot her instead?

I’m hoping the ceasefire is designed as a rest for our troops, before we go back & finsh the job.

Reza Pahlavi is the only hope in uniting the many factions in Iran. If not, when the present rulers fold up there will be a bloodbath. We need a pro-American ruler to rebuild Iran into a stable nation.

While their slut nieces of Iranian officials live high on the hog in Los Angeles, they post on Instagram. Of course, in very modest dress, these people really are mangy mutts, have been since ancient Greek times. Muslims are humanity’s afterbirth.

I say we arm the resistance and let them cage match it. Muslim scum are great at discarding their humanity and logic. The world really would be better with 1 billion of them sent to 40 virgins. The kids, the women, and even their dogs(oh wait, they don’t do that). I saw one out in the Burka, and I wanted to rip that disgusting, smelly rag from her mustached head and give her a solid punch to the face.

The regular army is basically just a bunch of techs running systems. All politics resides within the IRGC. Leaving them intact means Iran as we’ve known it since 79 survives.
