Who benefits most from a ceasefire? The difficulty factor is exponentially greater for the US than Iran. We have to keep military people stationed away from their home and families across the globe and in a combat-ready posture for at least another 2 weeks and who knows how long thereafter. You simply cannot keep troops in theater without rotation. Again, all Iran has to do is drag this out. Watch, 2 weeks will come. It will appear resolution is close. They only need a few more weeks to close the deal. The clock most certainly favors Iran and everybody knows this, especially Iran.
I suspect our intelligence agencies will be closely tracking every movement Iran’s military makes so when hostilities start again we can hit them the hardest with the mostest.
