Poor, poor EU communists. I only wish this happened in the middle of winter so we could watch you freeze while virtue signaling about netzero.

Brussels will not let this crisis go to waste. The elites will use this opportunity to impose energy rationing on the masses and blame Trump. Once established rationing will be imposed whenever the EU’s net zero policy creates ahortages.

---- "If only they still had the Russian-German pipeline."

That's probably the dream of the elite, to topple the Russian government and install an EU "regent" to send energy that Europe wants.

The term, regent, is drawn directly from....

"In brief, the U.S. policy goal must be unapologetically twofold: to perpetuate America's own dominant position for at least a generation and preferably longer still; and to create a geopolitical framework that can absorb the inevitable shocks and strains of social-political change while evolving into the geopolitical core of shared responsibility for peaceful global management. A prolonged phase of gradually expanding cooperation with key Eurasian partners, both stimulated and arbitrated by America, can also help to foster the preconditions for an eventual upgrading of the existing and increasingly antiquated UN structures. A new distribution of responsibilities and privileges can then take into account the changed realities of global power, so drastically different from those of 1945.

"These efforts will have the added historical advantage of benefiting from the new web of global linkages that is growing exponentially outside the more traditional nation-state system. That web—woven by multinational corporations, NGOs (nongovernmental organizations, with many of them transnational in character) and scientific communities and reinforced by the Internet—already creates an informal global system that is inherently congenial to more institutionalized and inclusive global cooperation.

"In the course of the next several decades, a functioning structure of global cooperation, based on geopolitical realities, could thus emerge and gradually assume the mantle of the world's current "regent," which has for the time being assumed the burden of responsibility for world stability and peace. Geostrategic success in that cause would represent a fitting legacy of America's role as the first, only, and last truly global superpower."

Viktor Orbán is a smart guy. And he always puts his country (Hungary) first. In that, he is very much like our Donald Trump.

Oh, but does the EU hate Viktor Orbán! He refuses to make Hungary a vassal state of the Greater EU Reich. He refuses to admit any Muslim invaders into Hungary, let alone in the numbers that the EU demands.

God protect Hungary!

The European solution for the energy crisis? Spend more money to invest in solar and wind electrical power.

The real reason that the EU is now seeking new electric systems is that their subsidized immigration, id est Muslim contingent, is starting to complain.

Too late. German gas stations can now only raise prices once a day, at noon. Diesel at $10 a gallon there now.

There are roughly 3.79 liters in a gallon. So we’re talking $10.44 a gallon here.

Maybe closing more coal-fired power plants will help.
🤔

Remember - Germany TURNED OFF ALL OF THEIR ELECTRICITY GENERATED WITH NUCLEAR POWER.

They simply stopped.

Consequences?

April 12, 2026. The polls say that Orbán’s opponent is Péter Magyar is ahead. Magyar is very pro-EU, so that’s not a good thing.

But the 2016 polls said Hillary would beat Trump. So there’s that.

By the way, “magyar” means “Hungarian”, in Hungarian. Weird, eh?
