Thank God our electrical lines are underground. However most of us get our trees trimmed every year or two because hurricanes can be nasty to them. I had one tree fall during Irma. Thank goodness it didn’t hit the house.
I suspect the fine was assessed because the city wanted the job to go to a union, and the $50K was the expected kickback to the city for the job.
