At least 50% of California's social welfare spending is outright fraud or abuse by unqualified recipients.
So figure about 200 billion dollars a year entitlement fraud in California. California Democrat rep Ro Khanna has already openly acknowledged that almost 80 billion a year in fraud in California and that he wants to lead the charge on fighting fraud so that sets 80 billion a year as the hard bottom , low ball estimate for California's annual fraud budget.
It's completely unmanageable to prosecute the fraudsters and criminals - you have to go to the cash spigot and shut off the flow of cash to these fraud ridden programs. Then you have to have annual re application for eligibility
the insanity of paying government funded day care for illegal aliens and immigrants who are on welfare and not even working should be a clue we have lost our way when it comes to entitlements .
Why not just shut it all off and let them reapply? With strict guidelines of course.
