Mathematics (theory) often points the way, but not always. In every case you cited there was already existing physical evidence. Theory later made it usable and understandable. Scientists keep looking for evidence of wormholes, whiteholes, tachyons, etc. and find little other then wishful thinking to support their existence. An ongoing example dark matter\dark energy the physical evidence is now starting to fall apart, theoretical argument had never really gotten off the ground. Then there’s String Theory hundreds of PhD dissertations done, whole physics departments doing nothing but that, still no physical evidence. Strong case can be made that it’s a mathematical form of metaphysics.

I’m just having my first shot of java, so bear with me. I cited rockets, lasers and space travel as an example of what did not exist before mankind made it happen. What ‘already existing physical evidence’ was there of those things before they were invented?
I guess my point is... most everything man has been inspired to create, mankind has managed to create (with God’s divine guidance and inspiration). If wormholes are real, then mankind will eventually discover them and use them, God willing. That’s all. Not trying to be contrarian here. I’d need lots more coffee for that gig.
Thanks Sheldon! JK!
