Physics class is just what they want you to think....
You might want to keep up on that field of physics then - Look up Dr. Miguel Alcubierre’s paper from 1994 and the work that’s been done on the topic since by several other groups. We still don’t know how it might be accomplished for certain; but we are exploring possibilities that aren’t affected by the light speed limit. Something that fifty years ago wasn’t even thought possible. So who knows what we might discover fifty years from now?
If I took a physics class in 1700, would it teach me what I needed to know to build a flying machine?
Would that knowledge limit in 1700 represent a genuine natural limit in the physical world?
A flying machine was always possible before Daniel Bernoulli's 1738 discovery.
Physics didn't change, but understanding grew.
I hesitate to place limits on what remains to be discovered about how our universe works.
